[Cog 2848] Duplicates in playlist #384

Describe
I downloaded Cog and pointed it at my MP3/AAC music library. It loaded the files and I can play them back. However, there are many duplicate entries (2 - 4 times). See screen shot.

When I right click to show the file in the Finder, each of the duplicated entries points to the same file.

I selected the "Playlist > Remove Duplicate Items" menu item. The beachball came out for awhile but nothing changed once it went away. I can manually remove them, but there are so many that I just gave up.

Expected behavior
Shouldn't be duplicates and should be able to remove them.

Same problem. :-/
"Playlist > Remove Duplicate Items" seems to work for some but not all of them... a little bit strange.
